Al Gauvin founded Blossom: Modern Home Care Solutions of Western New York (then CCOR) in 1997 as a solution for families looking for quality home care. He applied his passion and knowledge of home care to developing Blossom into an agency that makes a difference in our clients’ lives every day. His dedication to helping individuals maintain their independence at home has led Blossom to expand to four offices and 18 counties throughout Western New York to make services more accessible to those in need. Even though Al retired in 2018, he continues to be involved in the growth and progression of the company, bringing his dedication to everything that they do.

Emily Briggs
Director of CDPAP

Emily graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration. She started with Blossom in 2017 as the CDPAP Intake Coordinator, transitioning to CDPAP Manager in 2018, and grew into her current role as Director of CDPAP in 2021. Emily currently serves on the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Association of New York (CDPAANYS) Board of Directors and the advocacy committee for CDAPAANYS.

Megan Griffin-Adams joined the Blossom team in 2022, bringing over fifteen years of human services experience with her. As Director of Health Homes, Megan is responsible for the growth and oversight of both the children and adult Health Homes programs. Megan has previously worked in business development and outreach for a local managed long term care plan; and has worked extensively with children and adults with developmental disabilities, holding roles such as Treatment Coordinator, Residential Manager, and Assistant Director of Service Coordination. Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Geneseo, as well as a Master’s in Public Administration from SUNY Brockport.

Chris Gauvin
President & CEO

Chris Gauvin graduated from SUNY Buffalo in 1999 and has worked with Blossom: Modern Home Care Solutions of Western New York since its beginning in 1997.  Chris has helped the company grow from a small business operating in a one-room office to the corporation it is today – an employer of almost 800 individuals in Western New York.  As a vital member of the Blossom family, Chris has worked in various roles over the last 20 years, ranging from QA and IT up to running day-to-day operations.  Chris assumed the role of CEO in July of 2018, bringing a variety of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to his new position.

Brooke Findlay graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication. Brooke began her work at Blossom in the fall of 2019 as the Marketing Support Specialist and steadily grew into her role of Marketing Manager, which she stepped into in the summer of 2021. Brooke uses her knowledge of effective communication and eye for design in the day-to-day operations of overseeing the Marketing department. Outside of Blossom, Brooke is an active member of the Greater Rochester Area Partnership for the Elderly, sitting on several committees, as well as co-chairing one.

Molly Dillon graduated from Niagara University with a bachelor's degree in Business in 2011 and joined the Blossom family in 2017. Molly began her career with Blossom as a Quality Assurance Investigator and grew within the Compliance Department, transitioning into the role of Quality Assurance Manager in 2019 and Compliance Officer in 2020. Molly earned her certification in Health Care Compliance through the Health Care Compliance Association in September 2019 and maintains her certification through continuing education. Molly oversees the QA Department, Blossom's Compliance Program, and acts as the Agency's HIPAA Officer.
